![]() ![]() I suggest 10 minutes be a good starting point. In most cases, the ability to search your Skype for Business contacts in Outlook or Outlook Web App will not be affected. In addition to that we also need to define the time interval the client will query the web service for updates. In this update, the Skype for Business Contacts folder will no longer be visible in Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Web App if an admin sets the policy to DisableExchangeContactFolder. To work around this issue, we need to create an Office 2016 client policy on the Skype for Business server to force the client to use web searching only. via Skype SMS, World Text SMS or the aFreeSms Text Messaging Service. In the 2016 client this does not seem to happen, so the users receive the above error. Whenever you open any WhatsApp Message on your phone, WhatsApp conveys this. I understood the logic of the default action to failback to the web service if the downloading of the address book failed. Summary: Configure the unified contacts store for Exchange Server 2016 or Exchange Server 2013 and Skype for Business Server. Instead they will receive the following error at the bottom of the Skype for Business clientīy default it seems that the client prefers to download a copy of the address book rather than bother the Front End server’s web services too much with web requests. Therefore, when users are moved over the 2016 client they will not be able to search the company address book for contacts. Using the Office 2016 Skype for Business client it appears it has trouble downloading the Address Book cache file. While I am on the bug hunt at the moment another issue has caught my eye. ![]() ![]() ![]() SWR is slightly bumped up but only by 0.1 which is not worth a complaint. And the response directly up to the sky (90 degree) is about the same. The good is that the F/B is almost unaffected. The trace in BLUE is the 10m especially as it's pattern is affected (smeared you could say) by the interaction with the other two antennas around it. Here we can see both the 40m especially as well as the 17m elements are acting as unintended participants on the 10m band.īut how bad is this interaction? To answer that question we look at the elevation pattern in two cases, first is the 10m antenna alone, and then we look at the10m antenna with the top and bottom antennas present. In EZNEC, cranking up the current deflection on the wire frame view of the antenna shows you visually which elements are getting involved. Fortunately the array ended up looking pretty decent despite shortcomings of the top beam's location. I got lucky because that minimal but present interaction case is exactly what I have with top 10m.Īnd it's great that the result was good, because the only alternative other than an additional tower (which is not happening) is moving to a location at 30' up on the test tower. But if you are lucky, the interactions are minimal and while you take a small hit on each of these, the antenna can remain operational for the most part. Interactions in the worst case ruin patterns, kill gain and screw up SWR. This is hard to get around because as frequency goes up, even sub-features of surrounding and mostly non-interactive antennas can get into the interaction game. Unfortunately for the 10m beam especially, both antennas interact to an extent. ![]() ![]() The 10m beam sits between the 40m Moxon above and the 17/30m dual bander below. That leaves poor 10m as the last man standing and he's assigned the open spot on the 40m tower. So 20m gets it's own tower seperate from 40m and lives with the 15m stuff. If 20m and 40m were on the same tower, one would be a compromise from height at a minimum. Because 40m and 15m don't play well together, they must be on separate towers meaning 10m goes with one, and 20m with the other. Tower assignment depended on which combination yielded the least interference. All other antennas were put on at heights that were defined by what was available, rather than what would be optimal. The middle slots on the two towers are left for the unfortunates of the setup 10m and 6m.Ĥ0m and 20m are THE primary DX and contesting bands so the towers were literally built around getting the best possible result on those two bands. For some, this gives it an edge over other programs, particularly because it supports web-only platforms like Chrome OS, a popular choice for some business users. Like most free alternatives, Draw.io lives in your web browser, instead of as a downloadable program for Mac or Windows. Here’s our picks for the best Visio alternatives in 2021. Visio alternatives are a dime a dozen online, but not every application is created equally. If you don’t have access to Visio, or if you just want to try something different, there are a number of alternatives to try out on your PC. While Microsoft does offer a free Visio Viewer application, allowing users to view and comment on Visio files, there’s no free plan to speak of. In addition, there is no version of Visio for Mac OS X, so Mac users are locked out of the platform unless they’re working from the web. You either have to buy Office 2019, sign up for Microsoft’s Office 365 subscription service to use the product, or subscribe to a standalone Visio Online subscription. However, because Visio is part of the Office suite, it’s an expensive program if you don’t already have access to it. If you need a diagram made quickly, chances are you’ll be using Visio to make your chart. For many users, the app is essential, allowing for quickly-drawn flowcharts, control diagrams, and more, while also integrating directly into PowerPoint. Visio is terrific for creating organization charts, workflow charts, and many other kinds of graphics. ![]() ![]() The X2 uses the same suspended headband system as the X1 does but they made it bigger after feedback from the X1 customers. And finally, the pads themselves are replaceable, which should placate the crowd that had been asking to be able to change pads. ![]() ![]() The Yakuza series is having a moment right now, thanks to Sega’s breakneck localization of Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life and the freshly released Yakuza Kiwami 2. Most importantly, Yakuza Kiwami 2 offers a balance of two opposing forces, held together by self-aware videogaminess: intense drama featuring intense dadly themes, and absurd substories that shine a light on the silliness of the Yakuza world’s residents, turning Kiryu into a kind of street-level superhero who will always be there when someone needs emergency underwear or emergency voice acting services. ![]() If you’re not familiar, Toylets is Sega’s real-life urinal gaming system, localized in North America for the first time and playable via Kiryu’s digital bladder. ![]() There is, as always, an arcade full of Sega classics to play, this time beautifully emulated versions of Virtua Fighter 2 and Virtual-On, joined anachronistically by Toylets. Beloved, snakeskin be-jacketed madman Goro Majima is back in both a new version of the RTS-ish “Clan Creator” game from Yakuza 6 and his first playable scenario since Yakuza 0. The cabaret club management is back from Yakuza 0. This feature, missing from recent Yakuzas, adds a lot more possibility for weapon experimentation. Kiryu can, as in the PS2 game, keep weapons he takes off of enemies, and have them maintained by the resident weapon doctor, Kamiyama. Sometimes one man isn’t enough he needs someone to toss him a plunger. Yakuza series protagonist Kiryu has access to a larger library of context-sensitive, cinematic “Heat Action” attacks than he has in the last few games, including some from the PS2 release of Yakuza 2 that recruit locals to help Kiryu in a street fight. The Dragon Engine from Yakuza 6 returns, which means a seamless open world and hilarious physics-based combat (in other words, you throw a guy and he knocks all his friends over), now bolstered by returning content from previous games. Yakuza Kiwami 2 functions as a sort of “greatest hits” in terms of gameplay. The world has changed in the time between Yakuza 2 and Yakuza Kiwami 2 - as much as the game itself has changed between iterations. I also couldn’t imagine being among so many other Yakuza initiates - so many friends with whom to share screenshots of business chickens and zombie dances. When the PlayStation 2 version of Yakuza 2 was originally released in North America in 2008, I didn’t dare envision a future so rich with Yakuza content that I could spend two years living almost exclusively in a virtual Japanese neighborhood, immersed in a world of bad-but-good suits, bicycle-smashing brawls and deeply meaningful slot car races. The latest, Yakuza Kiwami 2, is a modernized remake of Yakuza 2, made in the new Yakuza 6 engine. In 2018, I’ve played two more, with a Fist of the North Star spinoff on the way. ![]() |
